Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable IRB Compliance Consultant to work with us on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) for a duration of 8 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance in all our institutional review board activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate research protocols for adherence to federal regulations and ethical standards.
- Provide expert guidance and support to researchers on IRB submissions and compliance matters.
- Participate in IRB meetings and contribute to the review process.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all IRB activities and communications.
- Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Conduct training sessions for researchers and staff on IRB compliance and ethical research practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (health sciences, ethics, or law).
- Previous experience in IRB compliance or a related area.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations governing human subjects research.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with researchers and stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Requirements:
