Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable IRB Compliance Consultant to work with us on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) for a duration of 8 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance in all our institutional review board activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate research protocols for adherence to federal regulations and ethical standards.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to researchers on IRB submissions and compliance matters.
  • Participate in IRB meetings and contribute to the review process.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all IRB activities and communications.
  • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Conduct training sessions for researchers and staff on IRB compliance and ethical research practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (health sciences, ethics, or law).
  • Previous experience in IRB compliance or a related area.
  • Strong understanding of federal regulations governing human subjects research.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with researchers and stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Requirements:

This role requires strong knowledge of IRB compliance, research protocols, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in English language is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills.
