Food Safety and Quality Control Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Safety and Quality Control Lead to join our team at Cdfoods. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the food safety management system, reviewing all customer COPs to ensure compliance and responding to any customer alerts.
You will also manage compliance to BRC/IFS standards and the C&D Foods Quality Management System, complete gap analysis, and be a member of Internal Audit, Traceability, and HACCP teams.
A key responsibility will be ensuring all audit non-conformances (internal/external) are robustly closed in accordance with agreed timelines, managing the document control process for the food safety management system, and working closely with other members of the Quality Department to achieve the Key quality Objectives of the site.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in Food Safety, risk assessments, and Quality Management Systems and process control in a BRC/IFS environment, with experience of Tesco or another retailer COP. A degree or diploma in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field is also required.
