Job Description

The Expansion function supports this by adding meaningful growth. We're responsible for creating and maintaining our real estate portfolio, including leasing, designing, procuring, building, and maintaining stores. Our Construction and Facilities team supplies NCG, builds, and maintains stores in line with customer and brand expectations to ensure an efficient store lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Distribute projects and service scope workload to the team, considering project complexity, size, opening dates, and geographical/logistic aspects.
  • Develop and implement the procurement strategy in your market, securing sufficient partners to enable expansion, service delivery, and optimize overall investment and cost levels.
  • Drive negotiations and budgeting processes with business cases behind each project.
  • Ensure the long-term regional strategy is reflected in all procurement and sustainability activities.
  • Manage projects professionally, ensuring they're ready on time, with expected quality, to the best cost, in a sustainable and compliant way.
  • Align quality expectations for stores and projects within the market and ensure service scope delivery meets brand requirements and cost expectations.
  • Ensure health and safety for all projects and stores.
Qualifications

We're looking for a strong business leader with excellent communication skills and decision-making abilities. You should have skills that allow you to work strategically, planning, and foreseeing opportunities and improvements. As a person, you're analytical, methodical, and cost-conscious, with a good understanding of the construction, facilities, and real estate market.

We require at least 5 years of relevant working experience from Facility Management, Construction, and/or real estate, preferably within the retail industry, with 3 of those years in a leadership position with team responsibility. A degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration or equivalent work experience is also required.
