Key Responsibilities:
- Design seasonal collections, including pre-drops and exclusive showpieces, in collaboration with the design team.
- Conduct research into materials, trims, construction techniques, and emerging trends to inform and inspire designs.
- Oversee the design process from concept through to production, ensuring high-quality standards and timely execution.
- Liaise with suppliers and attend factory visits to maintain production quality and resolve any technical challenges.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of experience in bag design, with a strong understanding of materials, trims, and construction techniques.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; experience with 3D software is an advantage.
- A strong awareness of market trends, consumer preferences, and industry developments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage creative processes independently while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Experience with supplier communication, factory visits, and PLM systems is desirable.
