Job Title: Indirect Tax Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Specialist to join our in-house tax department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our indirect tax agenda globally, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing expert advice on tax planning and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strong procedures to ensure robust compliance with VAT and customs duties on day-to-day transactions and projects, including M&A.
  • Act as an internal advisor on indirect tax matters, providing expert guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper integration of indirect tax input into our ERP system (Navision/Business Central).
  • Support requests from tax authorities and manage indirect tax audits in collaboration with local colleagues and tax advisors.
  • Analyze legislative developments within the indirect tax area and determine the impact on European Energy Group.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax, Accounting, Law, or Economics.
  • 5+ years of experience with indirect tax from an in-house tax department, an audit firm, or the tax authorities.
  • Experience with ERP systems and the relation with indirect taxes, including transaction flows and master data structure.
  • Full proficiency in English, Danish is an advantage.
  • Skilled user of MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
