The Danish Red Cross's Global Partnership Unit plays a critical role in driving the organization's international partnership engagement and global resource mobilization efforts. As a Resource Mobilization Expert, you will join this unit and contribute to the development of scalable business plans, identification of innovative ideas, and forging new partnerships.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Co-designing, co-developing, and implementing business development plans linked to global and regional strategies.
- Pitching plans and investment opportunities to management.
- Representing the organization at donor meetings, conferences, and networking events to increase visibility.
- Screening and developing possible funding opportunities.
- Coordinating and supporting drafting of funding applications, reports, and updates.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A master's or MBA in Business, International Affairs, International Development, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, resource mobilization, partnership development, preferably in the humanitarian or non-profit sector.
- Proposal writing and budgeting skills.
- Interpersonal and networking abilities.
- A proven track record of securing funding and managing donor relationships.
- Ability to engage and provide capacity support at different levels.
- Planning, facilitation, and coordination skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
