Your Role

In this critical role, you will provide expert legal support to our R&D organization, playing a key part in supporting functions such as Global Clinical Development, Science, Search and Innovation, and Global Procurement. Your focus will be on commercially viable solutions, including contract drafting, review, and negotiation.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Serving as the primary legal advisor to relevant R&D functions.
  2. Providing comprehensive legal support on various types of R&D contracts, with lead responsibility for contract negotiations.
  3. Offering strategic guidance on legal risk management and cross-functional collaboration.
  4. Advising on projects to enhance business support in contract management.
  5. Ensuring alignment with key stakeholders within Global Legal, IPR & Compliance, and the business.
  6. Developing a deep understanding of the line of business' needs in an R&D context.

You will be entrusted with significant responsibility and autonomy, requiring a structured work approach, corporate mindset, ability to prioritize, and strong business acumen.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we envision that you possess:

  1. A Master of Laws (Cand. Jur.), M.Sc. in business administration and commercial law (cand.merc.jur), or similar degree.
  2. Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder management skills.
  3. Proficiency in English, with negotiation and contract drafting skills.
  4. An autonomous, collaborative, and eager to learn attitude.
  5. Approximately 2-5 years of post-graduation experience, preferably from a pharmaceutical company or public research institution.
  6. Knowledge of R&D contracts and experience in the life science industry is preferred.
  7. A positive attitude and sense of humor are valued.
