Procurement Lawyer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Lawyer to join our team at COWI, a leading Project Management Consultancy in Denmark. As a Procurement Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our engineers, architects, and other technical colleagues in providing interdisciplinary and holistic legal advice on some of Denmark's largest construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and handling tenders for various consultancy and construction services, including design and build contracts, turnkey contracts, and framework agreements.
  • General professional sparring with and advising colleagues on procurement law, construction law, and technical advice.
  • Contract management and procurement management for larger Danish industrial and pharmaceutical clients.
  • Development of our client consultancy services at the intersection of technical and legal advice.
Requirements:
  • A background as cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur.
  • Experience in procurement law and construction law, including experience with drafting tender strategy, tender documents, and contracts.
  • Professional proficiency in Danish and English – written and spoken.
