Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate should hold a PhD in statistics or mathematics with expertise in frequentist, Bayesian, and likelihood-based inference statistics. Experience in the design of experiments and application of statistical methods is also required. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in R statistical software and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research activities in collaboration with fellow faculty members and contribute to our education programs. This includes giving courses, supervising BSc and MSc theses, engaging with society through external collaboration, and participating in securing external funding.
