About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned Sourcing Manager to join our team at Solar A/S. As a key member of our sourcing team, you will be responsible for executing the sourcing strategy within the Heating, Water, and Sanitary category.

Your primary objective will be to obtain the best agreements and purchasing terms and conditions for Solar. You will act as the trader representing and supporting the supplier negotiations, maintaining and processing supplier information in our procurement software.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the vendor agreement responsible in our procurement systems
  • Supporting the category strategy with a specific sourcing strategy
  • Focusing on and being responsible for COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
  • Vendor scouting
  • Tenders
  • Cross stocking (intercompany trading)

You will report directly to the Group Sourcing Director.

Your Profile

We are looking for a strong, decisive, and creative sourcing profile who harvests energy from negotiating daily. Experience from previous jobs within the field of Heating, Water, and Sanitary is a plus. You must be able to perform well both in groups and individually.

Furthermore, we are looking for:

  • Solid experience within the field of supply chain and sourcing
  • Affinity with technical products and willingness to travel occasionally
  • Experience with tactical strategic purchasing processes
  • Experience working within an international and cross-functional team
