Lead Procurement Specialist for Offshore Wind Projects

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead procurement and contract management activities for a large-scale offshore wind project with the New Power Partners ApS team.

About the Role
  • Manage all procurement and contract management duties related to the Transportation & Installation (T&I) package, supporting the procurement strategy and associated activities aligned with the project execution plan.
  • Plan and coordinate the procurement management plan and procurement strategy for the T&I package, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Prepare a detailed procurement plan, inclusive of time schedule, sourcing, and contract strategy, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Manage commercial contract procedures and deliverables, participate in key contractual events, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in contracts for the organization, providing guidance on contractual matters.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners to secure high-quality goods and services.
  • Monitor and control procurement costs, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities, providing insights into project performance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant technical, legal, or commercial education at Master or Bachelor level.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the offshore/onshore wind industry with T&I package experience.
  • Strong network and ability to influence change in the renewable energy and offshore wind sector.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Proactive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple work streams running in parallel.
Working Location and Department

The successful candidate will be based in one of our offices located in EU, Japan, Taiwan, or South Korea. The department is Procurement & Contract Management.
