Offshore Technical Sales Manager

Vestas is a global leader in wind energy, and we are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as an Industrial Control Systems Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical sales support to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- To effectively contribute to the technical value engineering of offshore wind and renewable energy projects, including technical negotiations and risk management/contracting.
- To work on project configuration and compliance with market and customer requirements, identifying and collecting relevant market, country, site, and customer-specific requirements.
- To participate in technical meetings, presenting SCADA/Cybersecurity/Communication scope and solutions to customers, ensuring effective time management and coordination of projects.
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in an Engineering function (Automation/Control/IT/Electrical/Power Systems Engineering or a related field) with about 5 years' experience in a similar position.
- A deep understanding of industrial control systems, SCADA systems, networks, and communication interfaces.
- Understanding of Cybersecurity regulations, requirements, and specifications, with knowledge of IEC 62443 and NIS directive being ideal.
- Experience in project or product management from a relevant industry (preferably renewables, offshore wind, energy).
