Job Description

NorSea Denmark A/S (Danbor A/S) seeks an experienced Instrument Supervisor, Offshore to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instrument and telecom maintenance on site including ICSS, SCADA, telecommunications, field instruments, control valves up to 3 inches, and valve operators for all valves above 3 inches, fire & gas system, metering systems, and regulations.

The Instrument Supervisor will manage a small team of technicians and is assisted by ICSS & PLC lead who will be in charge of all control command systems and associated regulations as well as telecommunications. Additionally, the Instrument Supervisor will be responsible for all isolation/bypass of safety instruments and keep an accurate/up-to-date log at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of instrument and telecom equipment on offshore installations
  • Management of a small team of technicians
  • Collaboration with ICSS & PLC lead for control command systems and regulations
  • Isolation and bypass of safety instruments

Requirements:
  • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years' study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent)
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the field of maintenance on oil and gas production installations
  • Basic knowledge of principles of process and equipment of Oil and Gas treatment installation
  • English speaking
  • Team leadership
  • Safety minded
