Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Lead to join our team at GlobalConnect. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in shaping our IT security architecture and ensuring the robustness and security of our IT environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement security-by-design principles across all stages of system development and decommissioning.
- Lead risk management efforts, including Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
- Ensure security policies are followed and adapted to evolving regulatory standards.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain metrics to monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT security and compliance programs.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees to ensure they understand the importance of security practices and can recognize potential security threats.
- Strong experience in cybersecurity or IT within regulated industries (e.g., telecom, finance).
- Expertise in mitigating common IT security threats and vulnerabilities through configuration management, patch management, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
- Proficiency in endpoint and application security practices and application vulnerability assessments.
- Knowledge of IT security principles and practices, with solid familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 2700x, and CIS.
- Familiarity with secure development practices, security assessments, and data privacy regulations.
- Fluent in written and spoken Business English, capable of effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
