Research and Development Engineer

About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Engineer to join our team. As a key player in our mission to decarbonize shipping, you will be responsible for conducting performance and process measurements, analyzing and validating data to drive continuous improvement.
">Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

- Fostering teamwork and innovation by collaborating with colleagues across the organization.">
- Conducting measurements and validating data during test campaigns, both externally and onboard vessels worldwide.">
- Ensuring testing outcomes are communicated effectively with internal and external stakeholders.">
- Maintaining and developing measuring methods and equipment, including calibration and certification.">
- Assisting in the retrofit amendment process to ensure test results meet industry standards.">
You Will Be Accountable For:
">Preparing adequate equipment and setting up prior to commencing test campaigns. When travelling, you will be part of a skilled engineering team, contributing within your specialist area to optimize and develop the engine process.

- Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, Chemistry, or a related field.">
- Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of Python, C++, or similar languages is a plus.">
- Maritime Experience: Experience in the maritime sector, particularly in shipping and physical testing.">
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, with strong communication and presentation abilities.">
- Curiosity and Drive: A natural interest in challenging and developing yourself.">
- Planning Skills: Strong planning abilities, both technically and in managing test activities.">
- International Experience: Experience collaborating with partners in China, South Korea, and/or Japan is preferred.">
