We're seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in planning and executing procurement activities for our largest investment projects.

About the Role

  • Manage the procurement plan for indirect spend in major investment projects
  • Coordinate procurement activities with purchasing and sourcing teams
  • Act as a focal point for project organization, providing guidance and support for indirect spend related matters
  • Prioritize sourcing pipeline and daily purchase requests, aligning tenders and scope with central procurement organizations and engineering partners
  • Plan and execute sourcing events, drive sourcing process and negotiations, conduct market screening of potential suppliers, maintain sourcing pipeline, and manage end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities

Responsibilities

As our new Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for indirect spend transactions in the project organization. You will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure sourcing and purchasing processes are driven and act as a link between the project organization and central procurement organizations in Novo Nordisk.

Requirements

  • Academic background within supply chain, engineering, business administration or other relevant field
  • Extensive experience as procurement manager, preferably in project settings, ideally complemented by formal or informal leadership
  • Experience in end-to-end procurement processes within indirect spend categories
  • Experience with digital procurement tools (Coupa, ARIBA, SAP or similar)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Danish is an advantage
