The Tanker Analyst position involves joining the team responsible for researching tanker markets, focusing on conventional trades and zero-emission fuel trades. As a Research Analyst, you will provide clients and the global organisation with up-to-date fleet and market intelligence, including market demand, trade patterns, deployment trends, charter rates, and asset values.
Responsibilities
- Assume ownership of strategic focus areas
- Provide clients and the global organisation with up-to-date fleet and market intelligence
- Develop and refine sector knowledge and outlook
- Collaborate with the data and analytics team to maintain and develop supply and demand forecast models
- Map major demand drivers within assigned segments
- Prepare regular market reports and forecasts
Requirements
We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable individual with 1-3 years' working experience, preferably from the shipping or energy industry. The ideal candidate should have expertise in forecast modelling, data collection, and analysis, as well as strong communication skills.
