We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Sales professional to join our team in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating demand in commercial projects such as Hospitality, Workspaces, and public areas, promoting our brands &Tradition, Frandsen Bespoke, NINE, and Verpan, and contributing to defining our commercial distribution strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage strong relationships with existing dealer networks, architectural and design practices, while exploring new prospects to optimize the growth of our brands in the Dutch Contract market.
- Conduct visits and presentations of our collections to dealers, specifiers, designers, and architects; provide regular training to build strong knowledge of our brand's portfolio.
- Maintain and expand your network of contacts in the specifying industry, ensuring strong relationships with dealers, specifiers, architects, and designers to facilitate specifications progressing to purchase and generate new project lead opportunities.
- Engage in early project involvement from the concept or tender phase to installation and completion on-site, controlling the process and facilitating communication between parties.
- Identify lighting specialized contractors and influencers in the Contract businesses to contribute to the expansion of this product category and the Bespoke capacity across the market.
- Work closely with local and HQ's Sales Support to manage daily requirements, project pipeline, and ensure a high level of service and communication.
- Utilize CRM and reporting tools to maintain a result-driven and customer-focused approach.
- Host clients and events in the Rijsenhout Showroom.
- Occasional international travel will be required for exhibitions, meetings, or training sessions, along with frequent domestic travel to pursue opportunities across the Netherlands.
- Report to the France & Benelux Director.
We are looking for a sales professional with 5 years of experience and a proven track record in the contract furniture industry in Holland, with a good understanding and passion for design furniture. Experience in lighting sales is preferable but not essential. You are a natural salesperson, motivated to achieve results, and enjoy spending time with clients and presenting products. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with being an empathetic, helpful, and supportive colleague.
You are positive, driven to make challenges a success, focused on finding solutions, and identifying possibilities. Strong time management skills are a must. You recognize the value of our products and services, making commercially minded decisions with long-term benefits for customers and the business. Familiarity with the nature of a Contract Sales role is important, as is being independent, sales-driven, and able to balance back-office needs with proactive tasks. You thrive in an unpretentious environment where flexibility is key and everyone helps each other.
