Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Strategic Procurement Manager for Renewable Energy Projects to join our team in Aarhus, Denmark. As a key member of our commercial department, you will be responsible for chartering sea freight solutions for Global Wind Industry clients and supporting the existing deugro network with Wind Charter solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to increase market share on sea freight for Wind.
- Lead tender activities and contribute to creating winning commercial and technical bid strategies.
- Act as primary customer contact for defined client areas and manage key accounts tactically and strategically.
- Create voyage calculations and submit offers and negotiate with clients.
- S support local business units in tendering activities and ensure that tenders are submitted in a compliant, complete, and competitive manner.
- Mandate to decide on commercials and handover to post-fixture team upon award.
- Drive stakeholder management internally and externally and analyze industry performance to provide feedback to the business.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Global Wind Industry.
- Full professional proficiency in English – both spoken and written.
- Strong knowledge of various Microsoft software packages.
- Ability to travel internationally and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial excellence with a feeling for where the biggest commercial opportunities are.
- Proven track record of results from similar roles.
- Track record of success in the Global Wind Industry.
