About the Role

At Ramboll Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solution Architect to join our Energy Transition Department. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to work with us in closing the gap to a sustainable future.

As our new Technical Solution Architect, you will be responsible for establishing the plan and strategy for the delivery model and level of details in the solution Ramboll offers. You will take the lead in technical client discussions from development phase for clarification of Technical Scope and recommend final Technical Concept, Deliverables and Scope for tenders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Advisory of Technical Solutions and best practice for clients in cooperation with the Market Team.
  • Interpret and establish Technical Scope of work according to client requirements, aligned with standard and in-house preferences for medium and large complexity projects.
  • Establish high-level overview of technical deliveries and roadmap with dependencies and deliverables.
  • Lead the preparation of high-Level Customer CAPEX and Ramboll Cost Estimation in close cooperation with Ramboll's cost estimation experts.
  • Ensure Customer clarification of relevant Digital Deliverables and Tools.
  • Support review sessions DG1-DG3.
  • Facilitate technical scope and quality peer review sessions of medium and large complexity projects.
  • Lead Competence teams and member of relevant Center of Competences in Concept Engineer Role.
  • Ensure Technological Innovations are adopted as required and standardized concepts are applied where possible.

Your New Team

As our Technical Solutions Architect, you will be part of an exceptional technical environment with 650 passionate colleagues. The discipline is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services on a global scale within the energy sector.

Transition to green energy is the organisation's primary focus area. Our services cover layout, design, and execution of large onshore pipeline systems. We cover all aspects of a project including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC, and follow-up engineering.

About You

We are looking for someone with extended Technical Concept and Solution experience in relevant market areas. You should have a multi-disciplinary technical background and at least 15 years' experience. You must understand Ramboll value creation, interface management, risk minimization, and interdependencies to Suppliers. A high-level understanding of Ramboll's gate delivery model regarding technical solutions and project execution is also required.

You will act as an integrator and have natural authority based on knowledge and experience. Ability to work in a multicultural matrix environment and communicate with international technical experts is essential. You should demonstrate good communication skills and commercial acumen. Understanding commercial risks and mitigations is also necessary.
