About the Role

GomSpace A/S is seeking a highly skilled AOCS Engineer to join our team. As an AOCS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing spacecraft attitude determination and control systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the success of our satellite missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AOCS solutions for customer-specific missions and spacecrafts
  • Interface with the Systems Engineering team to define architecture and spacecraft design
  • Perform simulation and development of AOCS software and hardware components
  • Deliver AOCS documentation and support integration, testing, and troubleshooting of AOCS components and software

Requirements

  • Relevant technical knowledge in control and automation, preferably at the MSc level or higher
  • Good understanding of CubeSat/spacecraft attitude determination and/or control systems
  • Programming proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as C, C++, Python, or MatLab
  • Experience with Linux-based systems and microcontrollers
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Fluent in English on a professional level
