Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design process and create technical documentation, including calculations, 3D modeling, and layout preparation.
  • Perform heating and cooling load calculations, determine airflow requirements, and conduct sound calculations.
  • Sizing HVAC equipment, ductwork systems, and pipework systems, and coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Participate in design reviews, vendor bid evaluations, and risk assessments.
  • Implement designs in accordance with international, local, and client standards, ensuring high quality, deadlines, and budget.
  • Develop projects from concept to detail design.
  • Experience in designing water services systems and process utilities systems is an asset.
  • On-site inspections of designed systems may be required.

Requirements:

  • Relevant bachelor or master's degree in Mechanical, HVAC Engineering, or a similar field, combined with a minimum of 6 years of experience in HVAC Engineering or a similar position.
  • Experience in the plant engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit) or similar.
  • Independent work style with excellent communication skills.
  • International work experience is an asset.
  • Professional Engineering License is an asset.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
