Technical Operations Manager for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Manager to lead our team in Kalundborg, Denmark. As an Associate Manager, you will be responsible for developing a high-performing team of technicians, achieving breakthrough targets, and sustaining wellbeing within the department.
About the Role
You will oversee the implementation and operation of Maintenance and Repair of our assembly and packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and coordinating training plan execution and workflow in the area. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering stable processes according to schedule, optimizing workflow and processes, and improving performance continuously together with the team.
Responsibilities
- Hire and manage personnel for the production area.
- Ensure reliability and availability of production data.
- Support and own maintenance journey, working across FPM sites to ensure best practice within maintenance and engineering.
- Negotiate cross-departmental demands, implement agreed actions, and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Provide technical and behavioral feedback to technicians, oversee safety and EHS issues in the production area, participate in environmental protection initiatives and projects, and coach the team for people development and growth mindset.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and ensure the best utilization of resources.
Requirements
- A relevant educational background within Natural Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- Experience working in the quality area in the pharmaceutical industry and profound knowledge of GMP and Quality Management Systems.
- A broad and well-proven leadership toolbox and experience building teams.
- Lean experience is a prerequisite.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Danish and English.
- Strong inclusive leadership skills, prioritizing wellbeing and development of your team while optimizing processes.
