We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of effective AML policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing AML policies and procedures to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing;
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness of AML measures;
- Providing training and guidance to colleagues on AML-related matters;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changing regulatory requirements and advising the organisation accordingly;
- Leading the team to achieve high-quality outcomes and meet deadlines;
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the financial sector;
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments;
- Knowledge of financial crime prevention and anti-money laundering regulations;
- Experience working in a global organisation, with a strong understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and business environments;
- Fluency in written and spoken English;
