As part of our Global Legal, IPR & Compliance department, you will contribute to the development of commercially viable solutions and work closely with the R&D Legal & HQ Operations team. This team is responsible for supporting the R&D organization, providing general legal support on various types of R&D contracts and IP-related matters, and acting as lead on contract negotiations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general legal support on various types of R&D contracts and IP-related matters.
- Act as lead on contract negotiations, including service agreements, research collaborations, partnership agreements, and license agreements.
- Assist the M&A team with licensing for pipeline sourcing.
- Offer guidance on legal risk management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Advise on various projects, including outsourcing, M&A, or other cross-functional activities.
- Ensure alignment with key stakeholders within Global Legal, IPR & Compliance, and the business.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A Master of Laws (Cand. Jur.), M.Sc. in business administration and commercial law (cand.merc.jur), or similar degree.
- 5-10 years of professional experience, preferably as an attorney at a law firm or a similar legal professional position in a pharmaceutical company.
- Knowledge about R&D-related agreements, university collaborations, and partnership agreements, licensing agreements, and other early-stage business development agreements, service and consultancy agreements, general contracting skills, GxP, IPR, and GDPR.
- Strong communication abilities and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in English with strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
- An autonomous, collaborative, and eager-to-learn attitude.
- A positive attitude and sense of humor are valued.
