Job Title: Production Planning and Business Development Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning and Business Development Specialist to join our team at The LEGO Group. As a key member of our global planning team, you will be responsible for optimizing and developing our core processes for planning and supporting our internal Supply Chain of Elements and Moulds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily planning operations, including intake and feasibility management, and serve as the primary contact for our customers.
  • Represent Planning in daily operations meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Balance load between sites globally within agreed capacity frames and reflect changes in SAP.
  • Start-up moulds, taking capacity and Work in Progress (WIP) into consideration.
  • Handle mould delays and reflect changes in SAP, informing relevant customers.
  • Manage A priority moulds (the highest priority moulds in our supply chain).
  • Prioritize orders when mould demand exceeds capacity in collaboration with Capacity management and Global Planning.
  • Ensure right priority of moulds and handle high priority moulds through close connection to customers to meet their needs.
  • Manage and change priority of moulds based on Global Planning desires and manage this within the agreed frame.
  • Support ad-hoc planning tasks and activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business innovation, SCM, or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with master planning and cross-functional business development.
  • Strong business understanding and a curious nature to learn.
  • Passion for development and challenging the status quo.
  • Proactive and self-driven individual with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in English in both speech and writing.
  • Experience with SAP or similar planning systems, and S&OP processes is a plus.
  • Humble, eager to learn, and a team player.
