We are seeking a skilled UX Designer to join our Extended Reality team in Gentofte, Denmark. As a UX Designer in this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, prototyping, and testing user interfaces for virtual environments, with a focus on creating an intuitive and effortless user experience.
Key Responsibilities- Design and prototype user interfaces for VR applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for users.
- Collaborate with software developers to implement and iterate on VR UI design, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine design, ensuring that the user experience is centered and effective.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest applications in XR, bringing innovative ideas to the team and contributing to the development of cutting-edge VR experiences.
- Implement user interfaces for VR in Unity or other similar engines, ensuring a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
- An academic degree in a relevant field, such as Interaction Design or Game Design, combined with 3-4 years of relevant experience in UX/UI Design.
- Working experience in creating VR projects, as well as with Unity or other similar engines.
- A strong understanding of spatial design and its implications on the VR user experience.
- Experience in UI Design, and the limitations/possibilities of UI Design in XR products.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and user-centered design.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and Scrum.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
You will be joining the newly formed Extended Reality team in the Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering department, a small and vibrant team that values collaboration and innovation. As a UX Designer in this team, you will have the opportunity to influence processes, procedures, and the way we work together, with a high degree of freedom and control.
