About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Consultant Wind Turbine and Electrical Specialist to join our global Offshore Wind Advisory team. As a subject matter expert, you will provide expert guidance and strategic advice in all areas within the wind turbine scope, especially wind turbine electrical systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support and lead relevant working packages for the wind turbine scopes and interfaces, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems during project execution of wind turbine projects.
- Support and lead technical preparation, coordination, and management of wind turbine scope tendering processes, in collaboration with external stakeholders and our clients.
- Support standardization processes and initiatives across the Offshore Wind Advisory Team, to develop and improve standard and modular technical requirements for the contracting of the wind turbine scope in international projects.
- Provide training and mentorship to project team members, subcontractors, and field personnel through fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced professional with a strong background in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. You will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in offshore wind project development, execution, and operation, with wind turbine electrical system design, installation, and commissioning experience being an advantage.
You will have strong project management skills, with experience in negotiating complex contracts and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines. You will also have excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, team environment.
