About the Role

We are seeking an experienced International Project Manager to support our European sales teams in the preparation and execution of commercial bids for complex regulating valves projects manufactured in our various plants worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pre-Bid Preparation: Collaborate with sales and pre-project teams to review customer specifications, plan activities, and coordinate bid preparation.
  2. Bid Alignment and Contract Review: Participate in alignment and contract review meetings, influencing internal strategy and sharing feedback.
  3. Negotiation and Requisition Management: Negotiate technical and documentary requisitions with customers, in collaboration with sales teams.
  4. Project Execution: Ensure all aspects of Emerson's commitments are documented when awarding the contract and at order entry.
  5. Project Deadline Management: Define and commit to project deadlines for goods and documentation.
  6. Customer Relationship Management: Act as the customer's main contact for Flow Controls Europe, contributing to customer satisfaction by providing necessary and accurate information.
  7. Project Management: Manage all stages of the project, ensuring deadlines and established milestones are met, and coordinate any modifications that emerge as the project progresses.
  8. Profitability Improvement: Prepare a margin improvement plan, seize opportunities for customer modification, and identify actions to limit costs.
Requirements
  1. Leadership and Priority Management: Demonstrate leadership and good priority management skills.
  2. Communication and Collaboration: Know how to communicate, collaborate, negotiate, and convince.
  3. Results-Oriented and Ambitious: Be tenacious and results-oriented, able to handle ambiguity, adapt, and solve problems independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Industrial Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in Project Management in an industrial environment.
  2. Education: 5-year master's degree or equivalent experience.
  3. Language Skills: English essential for team coordination, customer negotiations, and reporting.
  4. Negotiation and Customer Relations: Mastery of negotiation and customer relations techniques.
  5. Project Management Skills: Ability to analyze customer needs and manage international cross-functional projects.
  6. Matrix Organization: Ability to evolve in a matrix organization.
