We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Outsourcing Manager to join our Development Strategic Sourcing Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end contracting and outsourcing process for clinical trial services with external service providers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the contracting and outsourcing process, collaborating with departments in Clinical Development to facilitate timely and fit-for-purpose contracts.
- Drive the request for outsourcing process, vendor evaluation, and vendor selection.
- Enable the contract process, including initiation, negotiation, execution, and scope changes for master service agreements and monetary agreements.
- Lead vendor governance, including performance management, contract issue escalation and resolution, risk mitigation, and process optimization.
- Develop and implement outsourcing strategies within assigned service categories.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in life sciences.
- Fluent English (oral and written).
- 6-8 years' experience in clinical outsourcing/contracting in the bio-pharmaceutical industry or from a contract research organization or other relevant clinical service provider.
- Well-founded negotiation, contracts, and vendor management experience.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of clinical drug development.
- Firm experience working in a matrixed business environment, running multiple commitments and partners while prioritizing conflicting demands.
