The Managing Consultant (MC) role is a prestigious position within PA Consulting, with MCs typically acting as business development and team leaders. This multifaceted role requires a balance of operational insight and strategic foresight, along with a proactive and self-motivated approach. MCs play a crucial role in our leadership team and are integral to our sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients in the financial services domain to identify challenges, devise solutions, and oversee implementation.
- Provide strategic insights and advice to senior executives on issues such as digital transformation, operational efficiency, and risk management.
- Lead project teams to deliver exceptional solutions that align with client objectives and generate measurable business outcomes.
- Oversee strategic accounts as the chairperson.
- Drive financial services sales initiatives at the MC level across the organization, particularly in areas like commercial strategy, digital transformation, and business evolution.
- Partner with colleagues across PA Consulting's global network to share best practices and expertise.
Our team operates primarily from Copenhagen, with a focus on client engagement. While travel may be necessary, we are committed to working with qualified candidates to explore flexible working arrangements.
Qualifications
Candidates should have experience in Financial Services, including:
- A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree in economics, engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in management consulting, particularly within the financial services sector.
- Alternatively, candidates may have a combined advisory background with an internal managerial role at a significant client or corporate finance organization.
- A proven history of delivering successful projects in strategy development, process enhancement, and technology implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Documented sales experience.
- Proficiency in Danish and English; additional language skills are advantageous.
