GomSpace A/S is seeking a highly skilled Lead Systems Engineer to join its team in Aalborg or Luxembourg.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned systems engineer to lead a team and contribute to the development of innovative small-satellite solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in space systems engineering and experience in leading teams.

About the Role

As a lead systems engineer, you will be responsible for the overall system design and architecture of our spacecraft and satellites.

You will lead a team of systems engineers and work closely with other departments to ensure the successful development and delivery of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of spacecraft and satellite systems
  • Manage and lead a team of systems engineers
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure successful product development and delivery
  • Ensure compliance with international space engineering standards
  • Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in space systems engineering and experience in leading teams.

You will have a master's degree in aerospace engineering or a related field and be proficient in systems engineering principles and methodologies.
