About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Validation Engineer to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance and quality control of our IT systems and computerized equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement validation strategies for IT systems and computerized equipment
  • Plan and execute validation activities, including documentation, coordination, and reporting
  • Work closely with IT/Automation and process experts to ensure the appropriate level of quality throughout the project
  • Participate in large-scale expansion projects as the IT/automation validation expert
  • Take responsibility for validation activities, including planning, documentation, coordination, and reporting
  • Provide input on the development and optimization of our approach to validation and quality control work
  • Perform assessments, such as supplier assessments and IT risk assessments
  • Ensure the validated state of systems by performing periodic reviews, addressing deviations, and creating and maintaining system documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Automation, IT, biotechnology, production engineering, or similar field
  • Experience in validation from the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries, with GxP compliance experience
  • Experience in working with validation of process, computerized equipment, or IT systems
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
