About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key role in ensuring safe and successful delivery of offshore foundation installation works for wind turbines.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing large-scale installation projects, including contract management, procurement, and logistics coordination. Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine technology and jacket structures is essential.
Main Responsibilities- Installation Project Management: Oversee the entire installation process, from planning to execution, ensuring contingency plans are developed as required.
- Contract Management: Execute installation contracts, manage claims and variations, and ensure smooth communication with stakeholders.
- Techical Review: Conduct thorough technical reviews of installation concepts to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Vessel Charter Agreements: Ensure that installation vessel charter agreements are in place, facilitating efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Installation Scope Optimization: Analyze and optimize the installation scope to ensure the safest and most efficient installation possible.
- O&M Handover: Prepare comprehensive handover documentation for Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Interface Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks and interface items.
- Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the offshore/onshore wind industry, preferably with cable and WTG experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, including jacket structures and installation processes.
- Contract Management: Proven experience with FIDIC and BIMCO contracts, as well as procurement and claim management.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
