Housing Logistics Process Expert Job Summary

As a Housing Logistics Process Expert at DIS - Study Abroad in Scandinavia, you will have the opportunity to shape the newly established Housing & Student Life logistics team. Your primary focus will be on streamlining and improving logistical and administrative processes that support seamless student experiences.

In this role, you will lead a small team while actively taking an active, hands-on role in improving and executing key processes. We require a candidate with a blend of operational experience, process improvement expertise, and strong IT skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement digital processes that support and improve the students' experience
  • Organize and coordinate arrivals for students, including housing matching and general administration
  • Oversee the administrative process for student residence permits and CPR registration
  • Coordinating the process of matching students with visiting hosts
  • Manage content updates, functionality, and student engagement through the DIS Navigate app
  • Oversee the distribution and management of SIM cards, coordinate student transportation, administer student purchase cards, and ensure seamless service delivery and vendor relationships
Requirements
  • Process optimization: Ability to identify, design, improve, and streamline operational workflows with a data-driven approach
  • Strong system skills: Including proficiency in exploring and leveraging technology to improve processes and efficiency
  • Collaboration: Works closely with student-facing teams and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure logistical processes support broader service goals and values
  • Hands-on leadership: Lead a small team while actively being part of the execution of daily key processes and problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Danish and English
