Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Biotechnology Applications Expert to join our team at Revvity. This role will be based in the Nordic region and will focus on providing technical support, education, and collaboration with scientists in academic research institutions and biotech/pharma companies.

About the Role

In this position, you will be the primary point of contact for customers in the Nordic region, providing technical expertise, product training, and support. You will also represent BioLegend at user group meetings, scientific conferences, and local events. A key responsibility will be building relationships with scientists within your defined territory, requiring flexibility, proactivity, and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key customers at assigned focus accounts, both in person and remotely.
  • Conduct and present technical seminars to labs, user groups, and local meetings.
  • Coordinate and perform product demonstrations, trainings, and technical support.
  • Provide direct sales support to customers in collaboration with the team leader and Global Sales Operations team.
  • Contribute to local business development related to product development, licensing, service/collaborative agreements, and other responsibilities as needed.
  • Represent BioLegend at user group meetings, scientific conferences, and local events.
  • Maintain a contact database in customer retention management system (Salesforce).
  • Manage expenses through monthly reports.
  • Prepare quarterly reports on territory performance and notable business developments at key accounts.
  • Report any activity related to competitor activities or business opportunities as applicable.
  • Communicate needs for self-development and develop long-term professional goals.
  • Travel required as necessary, including some overnight travel for international events/training at HQ, and frequent travel across the Nordic countries.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Candidate must have the legal right to live and work in the EU.
  • PhD in Life Sciences or related specialty such as biotechnology, or MSc in biology or related specialty with 3+ years' experience in an academic, industry, or clinical lab setting.
  • Direct experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry.
  • Experience with cellular assays (in-vitro or primary cell).
  • Molecular biology wet lab experience (Western, PCR, ELISA, ELISpot, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Conventional and Spectral flow cytometry preferred.
  • Experience in proteogenomics/NGS.
  • Research experience (academic and/or industry) in Cell Biology, Immunology, or Cancer Biology.
  • Driving License.

Skills and Competencies

  • Customer-focused individual with empathy and skills to understand and address customer concerns.
  • Ability to use MS Outlook or Salesforce to stay organized and meet deadlines.
