Aalborg University is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research team at AAU Energy. As an AI Research Scientist, you will work on developing and training advanced deep learning models to optimize microbial fermentation processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing DRL algorithms for effective process control. A strong background in machine learning, deep learning, programming (Python), and experience with DRL are required.
We offer a dynamic engineering research department in continuous growth and inspiring surroundings. The position is located in Esbjerg and offered in relation to the research program "Offshore Drones and Robots Research Group".
Responsibilities include:
- Developing sophisticated deep learning models to build accurate simulators
- Designing DRL algorithms for effective process control
- Data collection, preprocessing, and analysis
