One of your primary responsibilities will be overseeing the execution and overall quality of a team's technical deliveries, which includes contributing your own code. You'll collaborate closely with our Product Managers and Designers to develop architectures yielding stable, scalable software.

Key roles in this position involve:

  • Working closely with the Product Managers and Designers on your team.
  • Providing technical guidance within your team.
  • Planning and designing stable and scalable software architectures.
  • High-level system design and low-level technical design.
  • Leading by example with hands-on code contributions.
  • Participating in product discovery to identify high-impact solutions driving team objectives.
  • Helping prioritize technical enhancements to meet business goals and assessing achievable options with available resources.
  • Collaborating with the Infrastructure team to ensure stability and performance.
  • Mentoring team members.
  • Developing and implementing processes and best practices for the engineering team.
  • Evaluating new technologies and solutions to advance capabilities.
  • Creating and maintaining deployment tools and procedures.
  • Documenting code, processes, and practices you are accountable for.

Qualifications

">
  • Proficiency in Node.js.
  • Thorough understanding of web application technologies.
  • Understanding of DevOps, QA, and test automation.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, and orchestration.
  • Product Development Practices (collaboration with PMs and Designers), User and Customer focus.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and current software development practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, and multiple AWS services.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
