About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Data Risk Officer to join our IT, Security & Data Risk team within the second line of defence (2LoD) function at Danske Bank.
This key role involves building procedures and processes for data risk management, including maintaining key risk data that helps 2LoD in monitoring and oversight. The successful candidate will drive, build, and maintain the risk data foundation for the risk type 'Data Risk', as well as communicate with stakeholders on the ongoing work throughout the bank related to Data Management and Data Governance.
The focus is on 2LoD risk management responsibilities. We aim to meet the requirements of our customers and society and live up to regulatory requirements. By establishing a strong risk culture, we create trust, maintain integrity, and lay the foundation to become the customers' preferred financial partner.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective data risk management strategies and procedures
- Maintain and improve data quality, data security, and data integrity
- Conduct regular data risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate data-related risks
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance data risk awareness and skills
