We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Architect to lead our team of systems engineers in designing and developing cutting-edge satellite solutions. As a key member of our Programs Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading the overall system design and architecture for our new GomSpace Indonesian constellation project.

The scope of this mission is to deliver a solution that enables the 'Satellite Constellation Mission to Support Monitoring of Marine and Fisheries Resources' program in Indonesia. Our team will design and manufacture 20 satellites, along with data processing software, to support this mission.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the project's systems team to ensure successful delivery of the mission
  • Developing and maintaining the overall system architecture and design
  • Serving as the primary technical point of contact to our customer
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the project forward
  • Maintaining excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Relevant engineering degree (MSc or higher) and/or professional experience in space systems engineering
  • Strong understanding of space systems, including satellites, spacecraft, and launch vehicles
  • Excellent systems engineering skills, including requirements analysis, system architecture, integration, verification, and validation
  • Experience with CAD tools (SOLIDWORKS or similar) and mission analysis tools (STK, GMAT or similar)
  • Familiarity with programming languages or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Matlab)
