Lead the Future of Sustainability
COWI A/S is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take on the role of Head of Discipline within our Building and Industry, Sustainability department. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for guiding a team of approximately 20 specialists in achieving technical excellence and driving business growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to and implementing strategies that promote business growth and outstanding results for the sustainability discipline.
- Taking on a pivotal role as a senior specialist, project manager or discipline lead on key projects, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Managing the discipline group beyond project work by encouraging professional growth, maintaining a clear overview of employees' skills, and ensuring effective staffing including recruitment, promotions, and optimizing team capacity.
- Providing coaching and mentorship to team members, developing them through individualized plans and constructive feedback.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a degree in engineering and substantial experience in managing or delivering sustainable projects. You should have strong business acumen and comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the sustainability sector, both within Denmark and on an international scale. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience and be characterized as robust, engaging, and strategic.
