Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Lead to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take on a key finance role within the Nordics market, working closely with our Commercial Director and Regional Controlling Finance organisation.

About the Role:

The Senior Finance Lead will be responsible for delivering end-to-end financial accounting for 4 Nordic legal entities. This includes producing statutory accounts, managing external year-end audits, and ensuring timely and accurate accounting records. The successful candidate will also be responsible for order management, revenue reconciliations, quarterly IFRS package close, internal control environment maintenance, and tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality financial accounting services for 4 Nordic legal entities
  • Produce statutory accounts and manage external year-end audits
  • Ensure timely and accurate accounting records
  • Manage order management and revenue reconciliations
  • Perform quarterly IFRS package close
  • Maintain and improve the internal control environment
  • Oversee tax reporting and compliance
  • Review monthly results and collaborate with Commercial Director on supplemental information
  • Develop and implement streamlined systems, processes, and controls
  • Support ad-hoc projects and information requests as required

Requirements:

  • A suitable accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA)
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role managing an overall finance function in a large, global, matrix organisation
  • Deep knowledge of accounting regulations (IFRS based; US GAAP experience beneficial)
  • Excellent system and process understanding, particularly with Navision, SalesForce, and/or Tagetik
  • Results-oriented, proactive approach, and ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment and multicultural setting
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn, comfortable working with complexity and ambiguity
