Norlys, Denmark's largest integrated telecommunications and energy company, is seeking a Telecoms Engineer to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will contribute to driving technological innovation and environmental sustainability.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and managing our IT monitoring platform and related systems, utilizing cutting-edge technologies in a responsible and impactful manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and advance IT monitoring platforms, including Zabbix
  2. Develop and manage Linux-based technologies
  3. Implement enhancements and new features to the IT monitoring systems
  4. Collaborate with various teams across Norlys to ensure seamless integration of solutions

This position is based in Aarhus.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Experience in deploying and managing monitoring platforms with a strong understanding of Linux-based enterprise environments
  2. A proven track record in relevant professional roles, supported by the necessary educational background
  3. An organized and systematic approach to work with inherent ownership in their field of expertise
  4. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, focusing on collaboration and consultation

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficiency in multiple operating systems, especially Linux and Windows
  2. Experience with enterprise and open-source monitoring solutions
  3. Familiarity with platforms such as Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Datadog, SL1, etc.
  4. Experience in scripting with languages like Powershell, Perl, Python, Go, and Ansible
  5. A strong background in automation
