Advanced Software Configuration Lead for Wind Turbine Operations

Vestas, a global leader in wind energy solutions, is seeking an experienced Software Configuration Lead to oversee key software configurations vital to our advanced wind turbine operations. This critical leadership position offers high exposure and opportunities to grow within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities- Spearhead Software Configuration: Ensure consistency across development, testing, and production environments by implementing and optimizing configuration management processes, aligning with company standards.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with various teams to support software deployment, updates, and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless integration.
- Drive Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configuration processes and systems, guaranteeing clarity and efficiency.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure adherence to configuration management policies and best practices, performing regular audits and reviews to ensure high levels of quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Promptly resolve configuration-related issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Software engineering or relevant education.
- More than 10 years of professional experience in working with Software Configuration Systems.
- Proven experience in software development and its methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
- Experience in programming languages such as C# or Python.
- Good communication skills in English.
