About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Functional Safety Specialist Lead to join our team at QCS Staffing. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality projects and maintaining exceptional relationships with our clients.
- Coordinate project plans and customer alignments to meet client requirements and safety standards.
- Lead the identification and management of Safety Instrumented System (SIS) resources across project organizations.
- Ensure adherence to quality management systems (QMS) for functional safety.
- Develop and maintain documentation control processes, vendor documentation management, and resource competency assessments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, reporting progress on important SIS deliverables and aligning with client requirements.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Functional Safety Lead or similar role, ensuring compliance with IEC 61511 standards.
- Strong background in coordinating and managing deliverables across multiple disciplines, ensuring timely project execution.
- Extensive experience in project planning, customer alignment, and handling functional safety scope changes.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) for Functional Safety.
- Proficiency in identifying and managing Safety Instrumented System (SIS) resources across project organizations.
