As a Senior Contract Manager in our Global Construction Procurement team, you will support one or several of our offshore wind farm projects globally during the construction phase. Your primary focus will be on contract management of tier 1 / major contracts.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Contract management of high-value, complex contracts to ensure contractual deliverables are met during the construction phase;
  • Closely collaborate with PM and package teams, advising on contractual and commercial issues, identifying risks, and minimizing impacts to the project;
  • Undertake Single Point of Contact (SPOC) role to provide coordination between CM and PM teams with regular meetings during construction phase;
  • Be the single point of contact for the Contractor regarding all contractual and commercial matters, managing respective meetings;
  • Responsible for drafting Employer communications and responding to Contractor's correspondence;
  • Manage change orders, including cost assessment and control;
  • Handle contractual and commercial issues as they arise, such as amendments and settlements made to the main contract;
  • Coordinate all commercial operations for the respective package, including processing payment applications, forecasting costs, and commercial reporting to the Project;
  • Undertake procurement tasks for the respective package during construction phase, such as procuring additional equipment/tools/scope of work to the package, effective use of SAP.

Requirements:

  • University degree in technical fields, preferably with an engineering background or business management;
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in power plant construction projects, with experience in the offshore market being advantageous;
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing high-value and high-risk construction project contracts/claims;
  • Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office;
  • Ability to travel internationally when needed and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the construction process;
  • Intercultural understanding and experience in international working environments is beneficial;
  • Very good communication skills in English, both orally and written, with additional language skills being a valuable addition.
