About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Software Development Manager to lead our team in creating software solutions for luxury audio devices. As part of our Audio Platform team, you will collaborate closely with other departments, such as app and cloud infrastructure teams, and have opportunities to influence methods and processes.

You will join a dynamic team that thrives in a fun, creative, and informal environment, where you can experiment with new technologies and frameworks. We use Scrum with two-week sprints and daily standups.

Bang & Olufsen is an agile company with approximately 1,100 employees, offering individual flexibility and decision-making. Our flat hierarchy and open communication facilitate mutual respect and inclusivity.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of end-to-end software solutions for luxury audio devices.
  • Mentor and guide the embedded development team to drive improvements in process and technical areas.
  • Manage stakeholders and ensure effective collaboration with product management, product marketing, and product platforms.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop Embedded Developers to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster a high-performing team through continuous support and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in embedded software development using Scrum methodology.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of design patterns, multithreaded programming, and relevant technologies.
  • Proficiency in modern C++ using Linux.
  • A degree in computer science or similar.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
