About the Project

This PhD research is part of a Villum project (SYMTEC) focused on identifying new oxide thin film materials with piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties. The project involves international collaborations with renowned research groups and experimental work primarily driven by curiosity.

We aim to explore various functional oxide thin films and optimize strain- and electric field-mediated defect distribution in these materials. This research has significant scientific and technological implications for the development of sustainable energy solutions.

Project Scope:
