About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Controller to join our DHS Finance team in Copenhagen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for business controlling activities within our product lines, focusing on performance and financial planning.

As a Senior Business Controller, you will act as a finance business partner, providing insights and influencing business decision-making. Your responsibilities will include creating value through financial analysis, developing business controlling frameworks, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

You will work closely with our stakeholders, including Global Sales, R&D, and After-sales teams, to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes. Your strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will enable you to articulate complex financial data and drive strategic decision-making.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Controller with a strong background in financial analysis, business forecasting, and business controlling. You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

You should be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, and have experience working in a global international environment and matrix organization. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results in high quality within deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as a finance business partner and responsible for all business controlling activities within the DHS product lines with a focus on performance.
  • Creating value by providing insights for the DHS management, influencing business decision-making, and supporting stakeholders in owning and driving financial performance.
  • Preparing the DHS P&L by product line, explaining deviations, analyzing the performance of DHS product lines, and improving quality in reporting.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial performance against key metrics, identifying trends and variances.
  • Participating in the rolling forecasting and financial planning processes and actively working with stakeholders to ensure reliable forecasts.
  • Driving and securing that strategic and operational activities are implemented and tracked with a key focus on productivity and resource efficiency.
  • Taking an active role in creating a Business controlling framework for DHS and supporting future development on the framework.
  • Participating in and leadership of various finance projects.
  • Maintaining and developing processes and reports in Cognos/Power BI etc. for use in DHS finance Team.
  • Participating in monthly reporting and supporting the business with finance-related forecast and finance-related questions, projects, and tasks.
  • Contributing to the development of the DHS finance team and acting as backup for team members when required.
