Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Københavns Universitet (KU) Full time
Project Overview:
This project focuses on the use of ultrafast X-ray scattering at synchrotron and XFEL sources to follow atomic scale structural changes taking place during chemical synthesis of nanoparticles. The postdoc project also involves synthesis development with focus on photo-induced reactions.

Methodology:
The project will employ advanced modelling of scattering or spectroscopy data and involve the use of synchrotron techniques including X-ray total scattering and X-ray spectroscopy to elucidate the formation pathways for materials using in situ synchrotron studies, as well as characterize their electrocatalytic properties through operando experiments.

Deliverables:
  • Independent and creative research contributions within chemistry
  • Scientific productivity and good inter-personal and communication skills
  • Development of novel materials and methods for their synthesis
